本展は高松市美術館が開催する高松コンテンポラリーアートアニュアル vol.09 「時どきどき想像」と保井智貴の「彫刻家の家」の連携企画です。
高松市美術館にて開催しいてる保井智貴の作品が設置された展示会場から館内を出て、高松市仏生山町近辺にある「TOYTOYTOY」を通り、「彫刻家の家」へと展示は続きます。
家を彫刻に、町を空間に見立てた「まちにある家という彫刻」。
「彫刻家の家」までに目にする風景、そこに佇む建物、道端に生えている草木たちが「彫刻」だとしたら。町自体が展示空間だとしたら、町という時の中に内包する多くのモノコトの見え方が、少しだけ今までと変わるかもしれません。
This exhibition is a collaborative project between the Takamatsu City Museum of Art, hosting the Takamatsu Contemporary Art Annual vol.09 Imagine the presence of "Time" - leads us to new views and Tomotaka Yasui's "Sculptor's House."
The artworks by Tomotaka Yasui displayed at the Takamatsu City Museum of Art will extend beyond the exhibition venue, leading from the museum through "TOYTOYTOY" in the vicinity of Busshōyama Town, Takamatsu City, and continuing to the "Sculptor's House."
The concept revolves around transforming houses into sculptures and considering the town as a space, encapsulated in the sculpture titled "A Sculpture of a House in the Town."
If we were to perceive the landscapes encountered on the way to the "Sculptor's House," the standing structures, and the vegetation along the roadside as sculptures, and if the town itself were considered an exhibition space, the perspectives on the many things encompassed within the temporal framework of the town might change, if only slightly, from what we have known so far.
ワークショップ
保井智貴のオルタナティブスペース「彫刻家の家」を背景に、時とともに少しずつ変わっていく「彫刻」を写真に撮って、町の移り変わりを感じよう！最後にみんなで集めた「彫刻」を編集し、上映会をします。
